Needing to clean all employee data for an HRIS migration, one Catalytic customer created a way to intake employee reports and validate that all necessary information was included. Any errors were automatically routed to the employee or HR manager for resolution.
In order to ensure proper reporting on global headcount, all employee data must be validated for consistency. Manual validation of 60,000 records was not an option given the migration schedule.
The customer built a Catalytic workflow to remove the burden of both manual validation of employee records as well as the resolution of "invalid" data from the global HR team. Instead, 90% of records were automatically validated and the 10% remaining were routed to the local HR representative for resolution. All fixes were aggregated back into the master data for migration.
The workflow trimmed 12 months from the central HRIS migration project and saved 9,000 hours of manual data validation. This process launched within four weeks.
