Mobile Applications: Last Hop
The Last Hop framework aggregates various user, device and network attributes and uses this contextual framework so that highly personalized mobile services can be offered to mobile customers. Many of these services were developed from scratch and some were acquired by integrating third party tools and applications. Prominent among these are authentication, mapping services, intelligent web based search, and handset search. Catalytic also provided UI enhancements required to make the application as intuitive and user friendly as possible. Catalytic also ported the client application to Symbian and Linux Mobile.
Desktop/Systems: Library on Steroids
Catalytic built the media library management system for a global media giant. This system allows users across the enterprise to manage and access huge media repositories. The system indexes both physical (in the forms of tapes, disks etc.) and digital formatted content. Librarians constantly use the system to receive, catalog and track new media content. This system forms the backbone for media tracking and broadcast scheduling services for of one of the world’s top media companies.
